My name is Nabumba Darleen Marie. Our class’s exposition topic was religion and I talked about the African Traditional Religion.
The African Traditional Religion is a religion where Africans believe in many small gods. These include; Jajja Muwanga, Jajja Mukasa, Jajja Musoke, Jajja Dundu et cetera. Every god had a special job to do for example, rain making, giving children, providing food and so on. Africans used to meet some of those gods under trees and in a shrine to get blessings, naming children and asking for what they need. However, these days we all believe in one God who created heaven and earth. We pray from churches and mosques.
