It was a warm Saturday afternoon when we had the Colour Festival 2024. Before the festival, several students, inclusive of the organisers were going around the school and selling tickets, I had to buy one because I was very curious as to what the festival would be like, it was my first one! I endeavoured to find out the time, venue and theme of the event. The theme was black and white, the venue was the school field and the event was to start at 2:00 PM.
When I arrived at the field, I was completely enthralled. There was funky music booming from speakers around the field, buckets full of different coloured powder and water balloons for us to play with and foods like roast chicken, meat and ice cream! After we had all gathered in the field, we had a bit of entertainment from some students who had choreographed dances, there were two crews. I liked the first one best.
After the dances, the organisers presented us with a surprise. They had invited motocross riders who gave us a show, performing stunts like wheelies and jumping off ramps. It was truly a remarkable experience.
