Did you know that the people you see everyday taking care of you at school can dance? Our matrons. On 2nd of August our matron’s had to entertain us by acting and dancing and so their presentation was about mother earth. It started when earth was ghost-plain with nothing but then God decided to create animals, humans and plants, so it was just fun with everything like creatures. But with selfishness, humans started destroying what God had done for them by destroying, I mean deforestation, poor fishing methods, mining, and throwing rubbish everywhere and anywhere. In that case God said, ’I have given you this wonderful earth and you do this to it, know you will be punished.’ So, after that punishment, they worked together and they were able to fix mother earth. After the skit, they danced for us Maganda and it was amazing. I saw the best matron [Matron Hellen Mercy] and the best MC [Matron Shakira]. It was wonderful, amazing and lovely. It though is a lesson about Earth the way it is dying and how we need it.
