Langford Tournaments

This term’s Langford tournament were very exciting. Before I give you the details, I want to tell you why TISP holds the Langford tournaments. Our first head teacher was called Patrick Langford and he loved playing football so much but when he died, TISP wanted to find one thing to give us a memory of him.

TISP then decided to create the Langford tournaments. This term they chose teams from the AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS. They included: Senegal, Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Egypt. On the day of the finals, the winning team was Egypt. Both boys and girls scored one goal. The goal scored by Egypt girls was scored by: ATHIENG MINYEL. The goal scored by Egypt boys was scored by: OKEMA BISMARK. I was among the MC’s with my fellow pupils: Paula Ampeire, Victoria Agaba and Stacy Semanda.

It was very exciting and it will be something I will never forget.
