Have you ever wanted to be thoroughly transported to another world, to be someone else and feel their emotions? If so, you should probably read a book. Books are literal pools of vast amounts of anything you desire. It’s everything you could want on a silver platter. There are so many genres of books to choose from; romance, comedy, fantasy, and manga. Whatever your pick is, there is something for you. There are also many topics; want to learn about music? You can read High Fidelity by Nick Hornby. Want to learn about physics? Read A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking. Want to Christian book? Read The Power of a Praying by Stormie Omatian. “A book is a gift you can open again and again.”

Let’s talk benefits of books. Books open up so many opportunities for us; educational and non-educational. Reading, alone, can help you know about the past, present, and the future. It helps with your mental word library, your spelling, your comprehension, and your writing as well. It’s as simple as pie, just grab a book and you will have all these at your fingertips. However, maybe you are not the type of person to be absorbed in the flipping of the pages and that incredible new book smell. Maybe the words confuse you and the physical thing just isn’t for you or you just can’t get your hands on the real thing. One word; E-books. These are one of technology’s greatest gifts to book lovers everywhere. It’s a way for you to experience your book in a whole new light. With E-books, it’s not just the voices in your head because with E-books you get to hear the words being spoken out to you along with the emotions they evoke. It’s a deeper dive into your novel and you can do so many things; eating, chores, and skincare, all while listening to your E-book. “That’s the thing about books, they let you travel without moving your feet.”

So if you want to be on the edge of your seat or die of laughter, if you want to squeal in excitement or coo in admiration, if you want to cry your whole heart out or feel all the emotions the world has to offer, possibly all in one, then find yourself a novel and be ready to enjoy the greatest experience of your life. “I do believe something very magical happens when you read a good book.”
