Last year, I was the Assistant Head girl of Cambridge. It was a great experience because, along my journey as a prefect, I was able to boost my confidence and public speaking skills. As the Assistant Head girl, I made sure I fulfilled my duties by maintaining order in my class and the school at large, but before truly becoming the assistant head girl, I had to take an oath as it is a tradition. I loved how the staff really took time to decorate the dining for our celebrations, it was great! Being a prefect really taught me a lot, I still practice what I was taught as a prefect even if I am no longer one. I thank the Lord for giving me the blessings to win the elections of last year, but I also thank Taibah for giving me the opportunity.
