At the beginning of term two, Taibah International School announced act of kindness. This is when we show care and love to someone in need. This campaign was going to take place for a week. This was not going to take place in school. Some classes went for “jajjaring,” Jajjaring in Taibah here means visiting an elderly person who is in need. Some went to schools to visit their fellow children who were needy and others went to help families, police posts, markets, and hospitals. This helps us as a life skill to be kind. As P.6 Eagles we went to Kitende Church of Uganda Primary School. This was a school from P.1 to P.7. It was so sad because these children did not have pens, pencils, books, colours, shoes and many more. The food there was to pay for boarders, and for day scholars, they had to come with their food.
It was so much fun with the children there.
Zoya Rabbani, P.6 Eagles
