The Swimming Club

The swimming club was introduced in first term and since my hobby is swimming, I requested my parents to allow me to join it. Swimming is the propulsion of the body through water by combined arm and leg motions and the natural flotation of the body. Swimming as an exercise is popular as an all-around body developer and is particularly useful in therapy and as an exercise for physically handicapped persons.

Swimming is good because it builds endurance, muscle strength and fitness. It also helps me maintain a healthy weight, healthy heart and lungs. It tones muscles and builds strength. It provides an all-over body workout, as nearly all of my muscles are used during swimming. Isss use encouraging words when talking to my friends so that they can also join the club and most of them have done so. I remind them to take a breath, make it fun and ask for help just in case they need to know more.
