Theatre Production

Every year, The Taibah International Schools hold a theatre production, and this happens every once a year. A play is staged casting our very own students, It is also a musical and dance production and every student gets a chance to participate either, in the play, in a dance, or a song. This year’s, the play was titled, ‘’Unmasking the Egwugwu’’ an adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart which was staged on 7th April 2023. I got a chance to participate in one of the songs in the show. It was such a wonderful experience for me.

The event was organized in association with Swangs Avenue and Buzz events at our sister school Taibah International School Primary Entebbe. The stage was big enough to accommodate all the performers and was beautifully designed with bright lighting.

We had three shows and the audience for each show was filled up with parents and other people that came to watch the show. everyone had a great time.

There was enough space for all who came to watch the shows and Our teachers were on duty making sure that every one of us was ready for the shows, had enough to eat and was comfortable.

The day was a success!
